Real Nice America

Jamie Oliver demonstrates how 70% of America's ground beef contains leftover cow parts (aka pink slime) containing e.coli and salmonella that has been treated with ammonia to make it legal for human consumption. I'm loving it.

Sri Lankan Rugby Team Does A Haka. Other Team Wants To Fight About It.

A Sri Lankan high school rugby team (yea, I know), from Trinity College, decided to challenge the opposition with their very own version of the haka. The other team wasn't all that impressed.

Derrick Rose Is Sort Of Hunting For Lebron James

Prior to clicking play though, realize the video is fan made and the voice heard is John Harrison from Star Trek: Into The Darkness. Derrick Rose nor adidas had no part whatsoever in the video. But still. I'm a Lebron hater from way back, so anything anti him is getting play here.
Also, keep this in mind for next NBA season; Rose returns, Brooklyn enlists the geriatric coalition of Garnett, Pierce and Terry and Indiana lock in David West while adding bench support. Objectively, this means Miami advancing to a fourth straight Finals next year (which hasn’t happened since the Celtics of the ’80s) will be more difficult than its ever been.

Fog Rolling In Over San Francisco

Art man. By Simon Christen.

The Faces In Dead Flowers

The Antirrhinum flower, commonly known as the snapdragon has been a popular garden plant for many years. Also known as the dragon flower, its common name derives from the resemblance of the flower to a dragon’s head.

When laterally squeezed the dragon will open and close it mouth: ask any grandparent whose flowers have been decimated by over keen but clumsy grandchildren. Yet once the flower has died, leaving behind the seed pod, something a little more macabre appears. The dead 'dragon flower' appears to have a skull.

15 Years Ago Mick Foley Got Thrown Off The Top Of A Cage

15 years ago Mankind and the Undertaker faced off in one of the most memorable and brutal wrestling matches of all time.

Fifteen years is a long time. For those around the right age, the card for the June 28, 1998 King of the Ring PPV will make you feel old: the Headbangers vs. Kaientai, Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor vs. Al Snow and Head, X-Pac vs. Owen Hart. The Pittsburgh Civic Arena was demolished last year. And yet the Hell in a Cell match, which wasn't even the main event, still holds up as the ideal of what wrestling is capable of—making you actually fear for the competitors.
