I'm a good year and a half late, but just wanted to let you know that this man is too dope. If you're not up Charles Bradley, get familiar - his story is amazing, and is also the subject of a documentary titled Soul of America (see below).

I Can't Stop Watching These Super Slow Motion Subway Stations

Adam Magyar positioned himself on trains as they pulled into subway stops in Tokyo, New York and Berlin, filming the waiting crowds at 50 frames per second using a high speed camera. The resulting footage he captured is infinity explication points amazing. It creates an uncanny feeling as the train is clearly moving quickly through the station, but the people seem to remain motionless.

Oooooooooooooo! Nope.

Beyonce fan for the lol.

Stop Scrolling And Watch These Fucking Hipsters

If American Psycho was made today it would look something like the above.

Hand Embroidery

Through a top layer of the skin in her palm, Eliza Bennett, sews multicolored thread for an art project she titled Women's Work Is Never Done. Describing the work in her statement, Bennett says: “By using the technique of embroidery, traditionally employed to represent femininity and applying it to the expression of it’s opposite, I hope to challenge the preconceived notion that ‘women’s work’ is light and easy.”

Yeah. Ok.

Louis CK & Jerry Seinfeld Talking To Each Other. That's It.

So, if you're not aware of it, Jerry Seinfeld has been doing a show called Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee. It's what it sounds like. Above is the episode with Louis CK, but the best episode is still the very first show featuring Larry David.

The Only Notorious B.I.G. Mixtape You'll Ever Need Is By Thee Mike B

In the 16 years since Christopher Wallace's death the internet (and your iTunes) has been flooded with generic Biggie mixtapes, blends and remixes. After listening to the above soundcloud, courtesy of theemikeb, I'm going to say that this is THE BEST B.I.G. mix up I've ever heard. Hit play and agree with me.

No Clue What She's Saying, But It Sounds Dope Just The Same.

While out in Tunisia, Jakarta Records put together a recording session which included nine female musicians from Tunisia, Libya, Syria & Egypt along with Oddisee (who is of Sudanese ancestry) and Olof Dreijer of The Knife. With the current civil war brewing in Syria -which all stems from the larger, Arab Spring that was set off in 2010- it's nice to see all these different musicians from their respective countries come together to make amazing music. For more info on the project, head here.
